Getting there and practical tips
🚗 By car from Brasília
220 km north via BR-020 and GO-118. About 2.5 hours. Alto Paraíso is the main gateway; São Jorge village (park gate) is 35 km further.

Water shoes, sunscreen, 2L+ of water, cash (many trails are cash only), swimwear and a light waterproof layer for afternoon storms in summer.

May–September for dry trails and calm water. December–March for lush green landscapes but muddy trails. Avoid July holidays for crowds.
